Weekly Digest

The weekly digest is the email you forward to a client on Monday morning to say "here's how your site did this week." Opt in per site, toggle it off when you're done.

When it sends

Every Monday at 10:00 UTC, the scheduler runs the digest job. For each site with the digest enabled, it:

  1. Gathers all completed scans from the last 7 days.
  2. Diffs them against the 7 days before that.
  3. Builds a week-over-week delta summary per metric.
  4. Sends a formatted HTML email.

If there were no scans in the last week, the site is skipped (no empty emails).

What's in the email

  • Site name and scan count — how much data is in this digest.
  • Health score — current vs. last week, with delta.
  • Performance / SEO / Accessibility / Best Practices — each category with week-over-week change.
  • Top regressions — up to 3 pages that got worse.
  • Top wins — up to 3 pages that got better.
  • A link to the full dashboard.

Custom recipient per site

By default the digest goes to your account email. But for agencies, the point is to send it directly to the client. Each site has an optional Digest Email field — set it, and that week's digest goes to that address instead of yours.

Agency workflow

Set the digest recipient to your client contact, enable weekly scans, and the Monday email becomes automatic retainer justification. You never touch it.

The from-address stays as Site Health:

From: Site Health <[email protected]>
Reply-To: <your account email>

Clients replying to the email reach you, not Site Health support.

How to enable it

On the site detail page, under Automation:

  1. Toggle Weekly Digest → on.
  2. (Optional) Enter a Digest Email override.
  3. Save.

Done. First digest sends next Monday at 10:00 UTC.

Why 10:00 UTC?

One hour after scheduled scans fire (09:00 UTC). Gives the week's last weekly scan time to complete before the digest is compiled.

Turning it off

Toggle it off on the site. The per-site override email is preserved in case you re-enable it later.
